Business Development Associate
Job summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Associate (Intern) to support our growth efforts by introducing our brand and products to mid-sized companies. This role is ideal for an NYSC member or a fresh graduate who is confident, persuasive, and eager to build a career in sales and business development.

Responsibilities:
- Proactively reach out to CEOs and Heads of HR of mid-sized companies via LinkedIn and other approved channels
- Introduce the company and clearly communicate the value of our products and services
- Schedule meetings and demos with decision-makers
- Prepare: A general company pitch deck and product-specific decks tailored to individual client needs
- Track outreach activities, responses, and conversions
- Meet monthly outreach targets and contribute to revenue growth
- Help decouple business development from founder-led sales by consistently generating qualified leads
Performance Targets:
- Reach out to at least 100 companies per month
- Target CEOs and Heads of HR in mid-sized businesses
- Achieve a minimum 10% conversion rate from outreach to meaningful engagement (meetings, demos, or sales pipeline)
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- NYSC member or recent graduate (0–2 years’ experience)
- Strong interest in sales, business development, or growth roles
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence in engaging senior executives and decision-makers
- Comfortable using LinkedIn for professional outreach
- Basic presentation skills (PowerPoint, Google Slides, or similar)
- Goal-oriented, resilient, and willing to learn
Compensation:
- Competitive Base Stipend
- Performance-Based Commission on Closed Deals
