We are seeking a highly organized, resilient, unique mind set, resilient, proactive, and with strong work ethics Business Assistant Officer to provide professional and administrative support to the Managing Director/CEO. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth transition enabling strategic focus and business growth.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare business reports, presentations, correspondence, and other professional documents for internal and external use.
- Provide administrative and operational support to the Managing Director/CEO.
- Manage and organize schedules, appointments, meetings, and business engagements as required.
- Liaise professionally with clients, stakeholders, business partners, and team members on behalf of the MD/CEO.
- Coordinate meetings and ensure relevant documents, information, and materials are prepared when required.
- Maintain organized filing systems and ensure company and executive records are accurate and up-to-date.
- Assist in tracking projects, tasks, deliverables, and follow-ups across departments.
- Follow up with team members and relevant stakeholders on assigned tasks and provide progress updates to the MD/CEO.
- Assist with the preparation and organization of business meetings, presentations, and other corporate engagements.
- Handle sensitive business information with a high level of discretion and confidentiality.
- Support the MD/CEO with official correspondence and other administrative duties as required.
- Assist the MD/CEO with personal tasks and errands when necessary.
- Perform other related duties that contribute to the efficient operation of the MD/CEO’s office and the organization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in real estate, business administration, management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant post-NYSC professional experience.
- Previous experience as a business assistant, executive assistant, personal assistant, administrative officer, or in a similar role is an advantage.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-management skills.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple responsibilities effectively.
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, and follow through on assigned responsibilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other relevant digital collaboration tools.
- Ability to prepare professional reports, presentations, correspondence, and business documents.
- High level of professionalism, integrity, discretion, and confidentiality.
- Strong work ethic, resilience, positive attitude, and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and evolving business environment.
- Familiarity with the real estate industry is an added advantage.
- Candidate must reside in Lagos and be able to work physically from Ikoyi.
- Candidates should be between 26 and 31 years of age.
