Business Analyst
Job summary
We are seeking a proactive Business Analyst with 3–5 years’ experience in business analysis, strategy, or process improvement. The role involves analyzing performance, gathering requirements, preparing reports, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting data-driven decisions to improve efficiency and outcomes.

Responsibilities:
Strategy & Analysis:
- Analyze organizational structures, business processes, and workflows to identify inefficiencies.
- Assist in building business cases for new initiatives, defining scopes, and estimating return on investment (ROI).
- Use quantitative data and modeling techniques to formulate ways to improve business performance.
Requirements Gathering & Documentation:
- Collaborate directly with stakeholders and subject matter experts (SMEs) to understand their challenges and goals.
- Translate broad business goals into clearly defined functional and technical requirements (e.g., user stories, epics, and acceptance criteria).
- Maintain traceability of requirements to ensure the final product aligns exactly with the original business need.
Solution Design & Implementation:
- Analyze how current IT systems deliver functionality and identify necessary technical enhancements.
- Design, prioritize, and facilitate the implementation of new technologies or process upgrades.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Serve as the primary translator between business leaders (who understand the strategy) and technical teams (who build the solutions).
- Persuade stakeholders of the benefits of proposed changes, manage expectations, and mitigate resistance to new workflows.
Testing & Support:
- Define test scenarios and participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure solutions are bug-free and meet user needs.
- Develop training materials, run workshops, and provide post-implementation support to ease the transition.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3–5 years’ proven experience as a Business Analyst or in a related analytical/strategy role
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, process mapping, and business process improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (advanced), and familiarity with data analysis/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, SQL is an advantage)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable business recommendations
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills
- Experience in preparing business reports, dashboards, and performance analysis
- Strong understanding of business operations, KPIs, and performance metrics
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Professional certification (e.g., CBAP, PMP, or related certifications) is an added advantage
