Building / Facility Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Building / Facility Manager to oversee the daily operations of our facility. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating technical and non-technical staff, managing contractors and vendors, ensuring preventive maintenance, controlling inventory and expenses, and maintaining effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.

Responsibilities;
- Oversee the overall daily operation of the facility, including coordination of technical and non-technical staff.
- Coordinate and supervise all technical activities of vendors, contractors, and subcontractors on assigned sites.
- Develop work schedules, technical rotations, and shift systems, and monitor compliance.
- Process daily work orders, assign appropriate resources, raise requisitions, and ensure timely closure.
- Register, monitor, and maintain records for servicing schedules, work orders, material usage, job completion certificates, and invoices.
- Monitor Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) activities daily and raise PM work requests at least two (2) weeks in advance.
- Maintain daily inventory records of consumables; identify reorder levels and conduct weekly stock audits.
- Collate material requisitions across departments and raise purchase orders at least 48 hours before stock-out.
- Prepare and submit weekly reports covering completed, ongoing, and pending activities, including work order status.
- Manage petty cash, track expenses, and perform reconciliations.
- Engage directly with clients, suppliers, contractors, and subcontractors.
- Schedule and coordinate daily toolbox talks with facility team members.
- Monitor, review, and initiate payment of public utility bills, including electricity, water, parking, and waste management.
Requirements:
- BSc / B.Tech / HND in Architecture, Building Engineering, or a related field.
- NYSC discharge or exemption certificate (required).
- Relevant professional certifications will be an added advantage.
- Minimum of 2–4 years proven experience in a similar role within a verifiable organization.
- Demonstrated knowledge of building and facility contract management.
- Residence close to the project site is preferred.
- Proficiency in the Yoruba language is required.
- Technology Utilization: Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) applications, Microsoft Office Suite, and Google Workspace tools (Docs, Sheets, Slides).
- Relationship Building: Strong ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all organizational levels.
- People Management: Ability to lead, motivate, and collaborate effectively with teams to achieve high performance.
- Financial Management: Experience managing budgets, controlling costs, and contributing to financial planning.

Renumeration: NGN 150,000.00 per month + 10% data & other work-related expense allowance
