Job Summary
The Brand & Marketing Manager will be responsible for supporting the development and execution of marketing strategies that elevate Awari’s brand presence across digital and offline platforms. This individual ensures that all brand messaging, visual identity, and campaign content aligns with Awari’s mission, values, and growth objectives.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
Brand Strategy & Management:
- Support the development and maintenance of Awari’s brand strategy, ensuring consistency across all touchpoints.
- Monitor brand perception and sentiment across channels, making recommendations for improvements.
- Ensure all marketing materials—digital, print, and multimedia—reflect Awari’s brand voice, tone, and visual guidelines.
Campaign Development & Execution:
- Assist in planning and executing integrated marketing campaigns that drive awareness, engagement, and conversions.
- Coordinate with internal teams (editorial, sales, and events) to align campaigns with business goals.
- Develop creative briefs, manage timelines, and support production of assets, including graphics, videos, and copy.
Content & Digital Marketing:
- Contribute to the creation of engaging content for social media, newsletters, blog posts, and landing pages.
- Collaborate with the editorial team to integrate brand storytelling into magazine features and digital content.
- Track and report on campaign performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, etc.).
Partnership & Event Marketing:
- Support co-branded campaigns and sponsorships that enhance Awari’s visibility and credibility.
- Assist in organizing and promoting events that showcase Awari as a go-to marketing platform for businesses.
- Work with partners to develop joint marketing plans and promotional materials.
Audience Engagement & Growth:
- Help design and implement strategies to grow Awari’s audience base across digital platforms.
- Monitor trends and audience feedback to inform brand positioning and campaign adjustments.
- Support community-building efforts through newsletters, online forums, and engagement campaigns.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or any other related field
- Minimum of 5-8 years of progressive experience as a Marketing Manager or Brand Marketing Manager
- Strong understanding of brand management principles and marketing best practices
- Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills
- Proficiency in content creation tools (Canva, Google workspace, Adobe creative suite), social media platforms, and basic analytics tools
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for storytelling, media and urban culture, especially within the Nigerian context
