Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and design the visual identity of our brand, including logos, typography, color schemes, and other brand elements.
- Create brand guidelines and style guides to ensure consistency in visual representation across all marketing materials and touchpoints.
- Design marketing collateral, such as brochures, flyers, social media graphics, website layouts, and other brand-related materials.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand the target audience and incorporate market insights into the brand design.
- Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities to ensure our brand remains current and relevant.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and UX/UI, to ensure brand consistency and alignment.
- Manage and update brand assets, including digital files, brand libraries, and design templates.
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to iterate and refine brand designs based on user preferences and needs.
- Present design concepts and ideas to stakeholders and effectively communicate the rationale behind design decisions.
- Collaborate with external agencies or freelancers when necessary to supplement the brand design efforts.
- Stay updated on design software and tools, and use them effectively to create high-quality designs.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Brand Designer or similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing brand design work.
- Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar tools
- Solid understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and visual composition.
- Strong conceptual and creative thinking abilities, with the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual design.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate design concepts and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented mindset with strong organizational and time management skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Familiarity with user-centered design principles and the ability to conduct user research is a plus.
- Knowledge of web design principles and experience with UI/UX design is desirable but not required.
