Job Summary

The Branch Manager plays a pivotal role in overseeing the efficient and effective operation of the branch. This multifaceted role requires a combination of general management, human resources, and business development skills to ensure the smooth functioning of the clinic, foster a positive work environment, and drive business growth.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Operational Management

  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the eye clinic, ensuring high-quality patient care and satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to streamline patient workflows and optimize clinic processes.
  • Implement and enforce clinic policies and procedures to maintain compliance with industry regulations and standards.
  • Manage inventory of medical supplies and equipment.


HR Management

  • Recruit, train, and supervise clinic staff, including medical and administrative personnel.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to enhance staff productivity.
  • Foster a positive work culture by promoting teamwork, communication, and professional development.
  • Address employee concerns and ensure a harmonious working environment.


Customer Relations

  • Act as the primary point of contact for patient feedback and concerns, working to resolve issues promptly and maintaining high levels of patient satisfaction.
  • Implement customer service initiatives to enhance the overall patient experience.


Business Development

  • Identify opportunities for business growth and expansion, including outreach programs, community events, and partnerships.
  • Develop and implement acceptable promotional campaigns to enhance the clinic's visibility.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and competition to formulate strategic plans for sustained growth.


Compliance and Quality Assurance

  • Ensure the eye clinic complies with relevant healthcare regulations and standards.
  • Implement quality assurance programs to uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety.


Reporting:

  • This position has a dual reporting structure, reporting to both the CEO and the Head of HR/Administration.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of a first degree. A master’s degree in Management will be an added advantage.
  • Minimum of 10 years post NYSC working experience.
  • Must have at least 5 years of experience in a managerial role
  • Strong leadership, qualification and interpersonal skills
