Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the branch.
- Supervise and motivate Loan Officers and other branch staff.
- Drive customer acquisition, loan disbursement, savings mobilization, and portfolio growth.
- Monitor loan repayment and ensure effective recovery of outstanding loans.
- Ensure proper appraisal and documentation of clients before disbursement.
- Conduct regular field monitoring and business verification.
- Ensure compliance with the organization's policies, procedures, and credit guidelines.
- Prepare and submit regular branch performance reports.
- Maintain good customer relationships and resolve customer issues.
- Monitor branch income, expenses, and overall profitability.
- Ensure achievement of assigned branch targets and KPIs.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Microfinance Banking, Lending, or a related financial institution.
- Previous experience as a Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager, or Senior Loan Officer is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of microfinance lending and loan recovery.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong marketing, business development, and customer relationship skills.
- Ability to work with targets and under pressure.
- Good knowledge of Microsoft Office and basic computer applications.
