Book Keeper/ Accounting Specialist
Job summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Bookkeeper/Accounting Specialist to manage financial records and support the finance team. In this role, you’ll ensure accuracy, compliance, and efficiency in our financial operations while collaborating with colleagues.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate financial records, including accounts payable and receivable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare financial reports, statements, and summaries for management review.
- Monitor cash flow, ensure timely invoicing, and track payments.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Collaborate with external auditors, accountants, and internal teams virtually.
- Suggest process improvements for efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3 years+ proven experience as a Bookkeeper, Accounting Specialist, or similar role.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial regulations.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Excel.
- High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills in a remote environment.
- Ability to manage confidential financial information responsibly.
Renumeration: NGN 500,000 (Non-negotiable)
