Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor the Automatic Hydraulic Block Moulding Machine to ensure efficient production.
- Set up the machine for daily operations and adjust settings as required for different block specifications.
- Inspect raw materials before production to ensure they meet quality standards.
- Monitor block quality and make necessary machine adjustments to maintain consistency.
- Carry out routine machine cleaning, lubrication, and basic preventive maintenance.
- Identify and report equipment faults or mechanical issues promptly.
- Maintain daily production records, including output, downtime, and material usage.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of finished blocks to prevent damage.
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental regulations within the production facility.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to minimize machine downtime and improve productivity.
Requirements:
- SSCE, OND, or a relevant technical qualification.
- 2–5 years of experience operating an Automatic Hydraulic Block Moulding Machine.
- Good understanding of concrete block production processes and quality control.
- Ability to perform basic machine troubleshooting and routine maintenance.
- Physically fit and able to work in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality products.
- Good teamwork, communication, and time management skills.
