Billing Officer
Job summary
The Billing Officer is responsible for executing core billing and basic accounting functions to support the financial operations of E-Access Hub. The role ensures accurate invoicing, proper financial record-keeping and timely payment tracking.This position plays a critical part in maintaining smooth accounting workflows.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Prepare and issue accurate client invoices based on approved work, deliverables, and agreements.
- Maintain up-to-date records of all billing transactions in line with accounting standards.
- Track receivables and monitor outstanding payments.
- Record basic accounting entries related to billing, payments received, and adjustments.
- Assist with reconciliation of customer accounts, receipts, and billing statements.
- Handle billing-related inquiries, discrepancies, and documentation requests.
- Support monthly and quarterly accounting activities by providing accurate billing data.
- Maintain organized documentation for audits, financial reviews, and internal reporting.
- Collaborate with internal teams to validate data used for billing.
- Ensure all billing practices comply with internal controls, financial procedures, and regulatory standards.
Requirements:
- Minimum BSc
- 2 years of previous work experience in a similar role
