Job summary

We are seeking a Media Services Business Development Manager to drive revenue growth across Walure’s media services and Media Academy offerings. This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Lagos, Nigeria, with flexibility to work remotely on selected days.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Drive revenue generation across all media verticals, including studio services, gadget rentals, billboard advertising, and Media Academy programs
  • Develop and grow partnerships with brands, creators, institutions, and corporate clients for training, workshops, and media services
  • Identify, pitch, and close new business opportunities across both commercial media services and educational offerings
  • Design and execute business development strategies to scale Media Academy enrolments and enterprise training programs
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term client and partner relationships
  • Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify growth opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure successful delivery of media services and academy programs
  • Track pipeline, revenue performance, and client engagement using CRM tools


Requirements:

  • Strong business development and sales experience with a track record of revenue growth
  • Experience selling media services, training programs, or educational products is a strong advantage
  • Proven ability in market research, strategic planning, and opportunity identification
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Comfortable engaging creators, brands, corporates, and institutional partners
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and basic business analytics
  • Self-driven, results-oriented, and effective in a hybrid work environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Ability to collaborate and lead initiatives in fast-paced, dynamic environments
