Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, mix, bake, and decorate a wide range of products including bread, pastries, cakes, and other baked goods according to recipes.
- Monitor equipment, oven temperatures, and baking times to ensure consistent quality and taste.
- Inspect food preparation areas and maintain strict kitchen hygiene, sanitation, and food safety standards.
- Manage inventory levels, track ingredient usage, and request supplies before stocks run low.
- Develop new recipes or customize existing items to meet customer preferences and dietary needs.
Requirements:
- Minimum qualification of SSCE.
- 2 years of previous experience in a similar role
- Proven experience as a Baker or in a professional kitchen environment.
- Strong knowledge of baking techniques, food safety regulations, and kitchen equipment operation.Excellent attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
