About the Role
We're looking for a highly skilled Backend Engineer to help design, build, and scale innovative projects from the ground up. If you're a sharp, self-driven developer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges and wants to ship impactful software, we want you on our team.
What You'll Do
Architect and develop scalable, high-performance backend systems and APIs
Design efficient data models and optimize both SQL and NoSQL databases
Deploy and manage cloud infrastructure on GCP and Firebase
Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines for automated testing, staging, and production releases
Collaborate on system design, performance tuning, and technical decision-making
Integrate blockchain technologies, smart contracts, or Web3 protocols as needed
Write clean, well-documented, and production-ready code
What We're Looking For
Strong proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript with a modern runtime (Node.js, Deno, or Bun)
Solid foundation in system design and database architecture
Hands-on experience with Firebase, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), and CI/CD workflows
Proven experience working with both SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, etc.) and NoSQL (MongoDB, Firestore, etc.) databases
Practical experience in blockchain/Web3 development (smart contracts, node integration, or decentralized architecture)
A problem-solving mindset, strong debugging skills, and a commitment to engineering best practices
Nice to Have
Experience with microservices, serverless, or event-driven architectures
Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and infrastructure as code
Public GitHub portfolio, open-source contributions, or shipped products
