Responsibilities:
- Design, build, test, and maintain secure backend services and APIs.
- Develop scalable and efficient backend systems that handle high transaction volumes.
- Collaborate with frontend developers and designers to deliver seamless user experiences.
- Write clean, testable, and maintainable code in PHP and Laravel or Node.js and TypeScript.
- Integrate financial service APIs.
- Ensure smooth deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting of backend services.
Requirements:
- 1–3 years of backend development experience.
- Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript, and automation tools like Retool.
- Strong knowledge of software design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
- Experience with Docker, cloud platforms (AWS, GCP), and Agile methodologies.
- Understanding of security best practices, especially for fintech applications.
- Experience with relational databases like MySQL.
- Proximity to the location (Ikota, Lagos) is highly preferred.
