Job summary
We are seeking a skilled and creative Front-End Developer to join our team and contribute to the development, improvement, and maintenance of Geoinfotech’s websites and digital platforms.

Responsibilities:
- Develop, maintain, and improve responsive websites and web applications.
- Translate UI/UX designs, wireframes, and prototypes into functional web interfaces.
- Write clean, reusable, scalable, and well-structured frontend code.
- Ensure websites are responsive and compatible across different browsers and devices.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to ensure accurate implementation of designs.
- Work with backend developers to integrate APIs and other backend services.
- Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend bugs and performance issues.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, accessibility, and search engine visibility.
- Maintain and update existing websites based on business and user requirements.
- Participate in website redesigns and digital improvement projects.
- Implement interactive features and functionality that improve user experience.
- Use Git and other version-control tools for collaborative development.
- Conduct testing and debugging before deployment.
- Ensure proper documentation of frontend development processes and updates.
- Stay updated with current frontend technologies, frameworks, tools, and industry best practices.
- Work with the existing frontend development team to divide responsibilities effectively and avoid duplication of tasks.
- Support other digital projects and technical initiatives assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Experience with modern frontend frameworks such as React.js, Next.js, or Vue.js.
- Good understanding of responsive web design.
- Experience working with REST APIs and integrating backend services.
- Knowledge of Git and GitHub/GitLab.Good understanding of UI/UX principles.
- Ability to convert Figma or other design files into functional web interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good understanding of website performance optimization.
- Knowledge of web accessibility and cross-browser compatibility.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a development team.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Experience with Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or other modern CSS frameworks.
- Knowledge of SEO fundamentals.
- Familiarity with WordPress or other CMS platforms.
- Basic understanding of backend technologies.
- Experience deploying websites using platforms such as Vercel, Netlify, or similar services.
- Familiarity with testing tools and frontend testing practices.
