Responsibilities:
- Define and drive technical vision, system architecture, and engineering roadmap.
- Design scalable, secure, and high-performance architectures for eCommerce operations.
- Lead architectural decisions across frontend, backend, APIs, and integrations.
- Oversee the development of web applications using Next.js, React, Laravel, MySQL.
- Manage integrations with payment gateways, logistics, and analytics tools.
- Recruit, mentor, and manage a distributed engineering team.
- Ensure best practices in clean code, documentation, testing, and version control.
- Oversee cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines (DigitalOcean, Vercel, GitHub).
- Implement cybersecurity and data protection standards (PCI-DSS, GDPR).
- Act as a bridge between engineering and non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of software engineering experience, with 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Proven experience in system architecture and technical leadership.
- Strong proficiency in Next.js, React, Laravel, MySQL, and API design.
- Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (DigitalOcean, Vercel) and CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, security standards, and compliance frameworks.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage distributed teams and deliver projects on time.
