🛠 What You'll Do
• Design, build, and maintain robust REST APIs and microservices powering Payhold's payment links ecosystem
• Develop secure, high-performance transaction processing pipelines with a focus on reliability and uptime
• Integrate with third-party payment gateways, banking APIs, and fraud detection services
• Architect scalable backend systems capable of handling high-volume, concurrent payment requests
• Collaborate with frontend, product, and DevOps teams to ship features end-to-end
• Write clean, testable, well-documented code and participate in code reviews
• Monitor, debug, and optimize system performance across production environments

✅ What We're Looking For
• 3+ years of backend development experience (Node.js, Python, Go, or similar)
• Strong understanding of RESTful API design and microservices architecture
• Experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) and caching layers (Redis)
• Familiarity with payment systems, PCI-DSS compliance, or fintech infrastructure is a strong plus
• Solid grasp of security best practices — authentication, encryption, and data protection
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• A problem-solver mindset with a bias for shipping reliable, scalable solutions
