Job summary

B2B Institutional Sales Representative needed to drive sales of electronics and engineering solutions to schools, universities, research labs and corporate departments. Build relationships, present proposals, negotiate and close high-value deals (₦500k–5m+), report to CEO and achieve monthly targets.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and qualify institutional prospects in schools, universities, labs, and corporate engineering departments.
  • Conduct outreach via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn, and in-person visits.
  • Deliver product presentations and technical demonstrations to decision makers.
  • Create professional proposals and quotations for deals worth ₦500k–⁵m+.
  • Negotiate contracts and close institutional sales deals.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with buyers.
  • Track the sales pipeline and report weekly to the CEO.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team for technical bundling.
  • Achieve monthly sales targets: ₦5m–₁0m by Month 3, ₦10m–₁5m by Month 6.


Requirements:

  • Minimum OND in Business, Marketing, Engineering or a related field; HND/B.Sc. preferred.
  • 2–4 years of B2B sales experience with a proven track record of closing ₦500k+ deals.
  • Experience selling to institutional/corporate buyers preferred.
  • Technical product sales experience is an advantage.

Skills:

  • Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
  • Self-motivated, with strong time management and a hunter mentality.
  • Ability to understand and explain technical products.
  • Professional demeanor; valid driver’s license preferred.
  • Personal Attributes: High energy, coachable, integrity, persistent, and comfortable with cold calling.
