Automobile Technician

Responsibilities:

• Carry out routine inspection, maintenance, servicing, and repairs on assigned equipment, vehicles, or systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and technical faults.
• Perform testing and functional checks after repairs or maintenance activities.
• Support the Pre-Delivery Inspection (PDI) of vehicles to ensure they meet required quality and operational standards before delivery.
• Assist with the inspection, maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of Electric Vehicles (EVs) and related systems, where applicable.
• Use appropriate tools, diagnostic equipment, and technical manuals when carrying out repairs and inspections.
• Identify defective components and recommend appropriate corrective actions.
• Maintain proper records of maintenance, repairs, inspections, and technical issues.

Requirements:

• OND or relevant technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of relevant hands-on technical experience.
• Practical knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems.
• Experience in automobile maintenance, PDI, workshop operations, equipment maintenance, or EVs IS A MUST.
• Ability to use basic diagnostic and technical tools.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read and understand basic technical drawings, manuals, or wiring diagrams.
