Audit Team Lead/ Assistant Manager

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage statutory and non-statutory audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Review audit working papers, financial statements, and audit files for compliance with IFRS and ISA.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop audit team members.
• Evaluate internal controls, identify risks, and provide practical recommendations.
• Manage client relationships and communicate audit findings effectively.
• Oversee engagement budgets, timelines, documentation, and billing.
• Support business development, proposals, and client onboarding.
• Ensure compliance with professional, regulatory, and firm standards.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of progressive audit experience, with 1–2 years in a supervisory/team lead capacity.
• ICAN qualification is mandatory.
• Bachelor's degree/HND in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and Nigerian tax laws.
• Experience managing multiple client engagements across different sectors.
• Proficiency in CaseWare and accounting/audit software.
• Strong leadership, communication, analytical, and client management skills.
• High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Location: Surulere, Lagos

Remuneration: NGN 600,000 – 650,000 Monthly
