Audit Officer

Responsibilities:

• Review of weekly branch activity reports.
• Participation in monthly stock count, reconciliation and adjustments.
• Journal Vouchers Audit
• Amortisation computation and posting audit
• Bank overdraft interest computation audit.
• GIT computation and posting audit.
• Monthly bank reconciliation audit and review of bank ledger postings.
• Review of PL Expenses.
• Turnover Versus Target or Budget Audit (Monthly Sales Performance Audit)
• Non-current assets/depreciation computation and posting audit
• Review of Supplier Account for Documentation,
• accuracy and validity (vendor account transaction audit)
• Verification of waybills against QuickBooks Postings for accuracy and validity
• Internal Audit Check on Payroll-Workforce, Gross Pay,
• Deductions and Net Pay (Junior Staff Salary Audit)
• Prepayment verification and tests of balances.
• Branch stock transfer/posting audit
• Containers dispatch/posting audit
• Audit of apportionment of expenses to branches for accuracy and consistency.
• Attendance Compliance audit to ensure that latecomers are properly booked across branches on a monthly basis.
  
• Stock spot count and identification of damaged/dented products (damage stock and stock audit) Including correct postings.
  
• Collection, review and generation of monthly audit report in absence of audit head/supervisor.
• Quarterly audit of branch stock, sales, assets, customer relations and services.

Requirements:

• A minimum of an HND in accounts.
• Not Less Than Two (2) Years Working Experience in an Audit Firm
• Must have completed NYSC or in possession of a discharged certificate.
• Must be proficient in the use of MS Word and Excel
• Must be using or have used QuickBooks Accounting
• Software or any other accounting software
• Must have good analytical skills.
• Must be a resident of Port Harcourt or willing to relocate.
• Not more than 30 years of age.

Remuneration: NGN 200,000 - 300,000 Monthly
