We are looking to hire a qualified Audit Officer to join our team in Kano. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in internal audit, risk management, and compliance.

Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

Conduct internal audits to assess financial and operational controls
Identify process gaps and recommend improvements
Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards
Evaluate risk management frameworks and control systems
Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
Maintain confidentiality and uphold ethical standards in all audit activities

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
Minimum of 3 years’ experience in auditing, internal control, or compliance functions
Professional certification (ICAN, ANAN, or CIA) is an added advantage
Strong understanding of audit procedures, risk management, and control frameworks
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and auditing software
Excellent analytical, investigative, and communication skills
High level of integrity, confidentiality, and objectivity
