Responsibilities:
- Plan, manage, and deliver external audit engagements for a range of clients, from SMEs to large corporations.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop a team of auditors, reviewing work for quality and compliance.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, understanding their businesses and needs.
- Identify risk areas and provide value-added recommendations in areas of internal control and financial reporting.
- Ensure audit documentation and reporting aligns with professional standards (e.g., IFRS, GAAP, ISA).Collaborate with the tax and consulting teams to offer integrated service solutions.
- Monitor engagement profitability and support business development efforts where appropriate.
Requirements:
- A minimum of a degree in a related field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience
- Proven experience planning, managing, and delivering external audit engagements for clients across various industries and sizes.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to supervise, mentor, and review the work of audit teams to ensure quality and compliance.
- In-depth knowledge of auditing and accounting standards, including IFRS, GAAP, and ISA.
- Excellent client management skills, with the ability to identify risk areas and provide practical, value-added recommendations.
