Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Associate role located in Lagos. The Associate will be responsible for conducting legal research, drafting legal documents, managing case files, and providing support for court proceedings. In addition, the role involves client consultation, legal advisory engagements, and collaboration with other team members to deliver effective legal solutions. Expertise in litigation is an added advantage
Qualifications
- Strong legal research and analytical skills, with a solid understanding of legal principles and procedures
- Proficiency in legal drafting and documentation, including contracts, agreements, and case summaries
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for client consultations and team collaboration
- Organizational and time management skills to maintain case files and meet deadlines
- Proactive problem-solving abilities and attention to detail in legal proceedings
- Qualification to practice law and membership of the relevant legal association
- Prior experience in a legal firm or related environment is an advantage
- Basic proficiency in legal research tools and office software
