The Assistant Cinema Manager supports the Cinema Manager in overseeing daily cinema operations and ensuring a premium, seamless, and exceptional guest experience. The role is responsible for supervising staff, maintaining service standards, coordinating operations, resolving guest issues, and ensuring the cinema consistently meets its luxury brand

Responsibilities:
- Assist the Cinema Manager in the overall management of daily cinema operations.

Supervise and coordinate Guest Service Hosts, ushers, ticketing, food & beverage, and other frontline staff.

Ensure guests receive exceptional and personalised service throughout their visit.

Monitor staff performance, grooming, punctuality, conduct, and adherence to service standards.

Handle and resolve guest complaints professionally and promptly.

Ensure Screens, lounges, reception areas, restrooms, and other guest areas are clean, comfortable, and well-presented.

Monitor ticketing, seating, concessions, and guest flow to ensure smooth operations.

Coordinate staff deployment according to business needs and peak periods.

Ensure movies commence on time and that auditorium operations run efficiently.

Monitor food and beverage service to ensure quality, accuracy, and timely delivery.

Support inventory control and minimise operational losses and wastage.

Ensure compliance with company policies, HSE procedures, security standards, and operational guidelines.

Conduct regular operational checks and report maintenance or facility issues promptly.

Assist with staff training, coaching, onboarding, and performance monitoring.

Support the planning and execution of private screenings, premieres, events, and VIP experiences.

Prepare operational reports and provide feedback to the Cinema Manager on daily activities and challenges.

Ensure cash-handling and other financial procedures are properly followed.

Act as the Manager on Duty in the absence of the Cinema Manager.

Identify opportunities to improve guest satisfaction, service delivery, and operational efficiency.

Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
Requirements:
- HND in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in cinema operations, hospitality, luxury retail, restaurants, hotels, or a similar customer-focused environment
- Previous supervisory or management experience is required.

Experience in a luxury or premium hospitality environment is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, people management, and team coordination skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Ability to manage guest complaints professionally and effectively.
- Good knowledge of daily operations, service standards, and customer experience management.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high presentation standards.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple operational priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic reporting tools.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
