Assistant Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to support the district Store Manager in overseeing daily operations at our supermarket. This role involves managing staff, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining store standards while assisting in achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, merchandising, and customer service.
- Supervise and train staff, including scheduling shifts, conducting performance evaluations, and fostering a positive work environment.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service; address customer complaints and concerns promptly.
- Support the development and implementation of strategies to improve sales, increase profitability, and reduce costs.
- Assist in inventory management, including stock ordering, receiving, and merchandising, to ensure the right products are available for customers.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as company policies and procedures.
- Monitor sales data and generate reports for the Store Manager, making recommendations for improvements as needed.
Requirements:
- Minimum HND
- 3 years of previous work experience in a similar role
