We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Assistant Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, budgeting, and business analysis. The successful candidate will assist in analysing financial data, preparing reports and forecasts, monitoring financial performance, and providing insights that support informed business decisions.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, budgets, forecasts, and financial analysis.
  • Analyse financial data, trends, and variances to identify business opportunities, risks, and areas requiring attention.
  • Support the preparation and maintenance of financial models, forecasts, and management reports.
  • Monitor departmental expenses and assist in ensuring compliance with approved budgets.
  • Perform financial reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information.
  • Assist with cash flow monitoring, expense analysis, and other financial performance reviews.
  • Gather, validate, and analyse financial and operational data from relevant departments.
  • Prepare presentations, dashboards, and reports for management review.
  • Conduct market, industry, and competitor research to support business planning and financial decision-making.
  • Work closely with the Finance, Accounting, and Operations teams to obtain and validate financial information.


 Requirements:

  • HND in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 1–3 years of relevant experience in financial analysis, accounting, finance, or a related role.
  • Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and basic accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, data analysis, PivotTables, and reporting. 
  • Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  • Ability to interpret financial information and communicate findings clearly.


Remuneration: NGN 180,000 - 220,000 Net


Location: Abuja, Nigeria
