Assistant Electrical Project Engineer

• Assist in the planning and execution of electrical engineering projects.
• Support site inspections, surveys, measurements, and technical assessments.
• Assist with the preparation and review of electrical drawings, BOQs, material schedules, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate with contractors, artisans, suppliers, and other project stakeholders.
• Monitor site activities and ensure work is carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
• Assist with installation, testing, troubleshooting, and maintenance of electrical systems.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates, site reports, and other project documentation.
• Track project materials, equipment, and resources.
• Support quality control and ensure compliance with HSE requirements.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical updates when required.
• Assist with Metering/AMI/AMR projects, project cost monitoring, procurement activities, and material verification.
• Perform other engineering and project-related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• HND in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering, construction, power, or project execution.
• Good understanding of electrical installations and power systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and technical documents.
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work on project sites when required.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety.
