Job summary
We are seeking an Assistant Division Officer to support the effective management of plantation operations by coordinating field activities, supervising the workforce, and ensuring optimal productivity across assigned divisions. The Assistant Division Officer plays a key role in executing agronomic practices and maintaining operational efficiency.

Responsibilities:
- Assist in planning and executing daily plantation activities (planting, harvesting, pruning, and maintenance).
- Supervise field workers and ensure productivity targets are met.
- Monitor crop health, yield performance, and field conditions.
- Ensure proper application of fertilizers, pesticides, and agronomic practices.
- Maintain accurate records of field activities, labor, and input usage.
- Support the implementation of health, safety, and environmental standards.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate logistics for harvesting and evacuation of fresh fruit bunches (FFB).
- Assist in budgeting and resource allocation for field operations.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and standard operating procedures.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Yield per Hectare Achievement > 85% annually
- Harvesting Efficiency > 90% monthly
- Labor Productivity Rate > 85%
- Field Losses < 5% per harvest cycle
- Input Utilization Efficiency > 90%
- HSE Compliance Rate = 100%
Requirements:
- BSc or HND in Agriculture, Agronomy, Forestry, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in plantation or farm management, preferably in oil palm operations
- Professional Certifications
- Relevant agricultural or plantation management certifications (added advantage)
Remuneration: NGN 250,000 – 400,000
