The KA Area Sales Manager will be responsible for planning, selling and merchandising of Godrej products in assigned territory, to contribute effectively to achieve overall company objectives. To effectively manage and develop key accounts with assigned territory, and to manage and develop the KA resources within the area through consistent coaching and training. The ASM must adapt the regional and national plans into assigned territory.
Qualification for the Role
· Candidate must have a minimum of 3-4 years of key accounts sales operations
· FMCG / Food is essential. Modern trade experience, and advantage
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Excellent MS Office skills
· Must be detailed, organized and able to multi-task in a fast-paced business environment.
Principal Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
1. Primarily responsible for achieving the target by category and by customer. Ensuring distribution to all modern trade accounts
2. Build and lead a strong and capable team
3. Ensure excellence in execution of all brand plans, and activities
4. Drive debt control as per company policies
5. Ensure effective communication of objectives, and drive accountability for the achievement of the objectives
6. Drive the culture of engagement and recognition within the team
7. Ensure pricing compliance within outlets
8. Plan and drive the right inventory management for each store and account
9. Effective management of receivables from the accounts
10. Drive Order fulfillment
11. Secure on a monthly basis sell-out data from stores and accounts.
12. Actively seek out opportunities for market development by adding more stores and accounts
13. Develop the team of resources within assigned territory.
14. Manage all brand assets within the territory
