Artist Manager
Job summary
We are seeking a dynamic, well-connected, and highly organized Artist Manager to oversee the career, brand, and daily operations of our artist. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in the music/entertainment industry and a proven track record of artist growth, brand partnerships, and project management.
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to grow the artist's career, brand, and audience.
- Manage day-to-day activities, schedules, bookings, and communications for the artist.
- Source and negotiate deals, including shows, endorsements, collaborations, and partnerships.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with record labels, producers, promoters, media houses, and brands.
- Oversee content creation, releases, marketing campaigns, and social media presence.
- Plan and coordinate tours, studio sessions, interviews, and public appearances.
- Handle contracts, financial records, and ensure the artist's interests are protected.
- Monitor industry trends and identify new opportunities for growth and exposure.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Music Business, Entertainment Management, Marketing, or a related field is an advantage.
- Minimum of 2 to 3 years of proven experience as an Artist Manager or in talent management within the music/entertainment industry.
- Strong network and contacts within the Nigerian entertainment industry.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Good understanding of music distribution, promotions, branding, and digital platforms.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and travel when required.
- Highly organized, proactive, and passionate about the entertainment industry.
- Must reside in Lagos.
