Area Sales Manager
Job summary
We are seeking experienced and results-oriented Area Sales Managers to drive regional sales performance and expand market share within the FMCG sector. The successful candidates will oversee distributor management, market penetration, revenue growth, and team performance across their assigned regions.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute regional sales strategies to achieve revenue and volume targets
- Manage and support distributors, wholesalers, and key retail accounts
- Expand distribution coverage and strengthen market presence
- Lead, coach, and monitor field sales teams to drive performance
- Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities
- Ensure effective trade promotions, merchandising, and brand visibility
- Monitor competitor activities and provide strategic market insights
- Prepare periodic sales forecasts and performance reports
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in FMCG sales, with strong regional exposure
- Bachelor’s Degree or HND in Marketing, Business Administration, Economics, or any related field. Relevant FMCG sales experience is highly required.
- Experience in edible oil and/or milk powder segments preferred
- Strong understanding of distribution networks and market dynamics within the assigned region
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to travel across assigned territories as required
