Architect

We are seeking for a creative, skilled and experienced architect to design unique buildings and well-organized structures, handle projects from the initial client briefing through to the final stages of construction, manage client relationships, develop and present design proposals, prepare detailed drawings, specifications, budgets, and construction documents, and manage project teams.
Experienced in building information modeling (BIM) and ability to take ownership of projects, be it the design and construction of a new building, an extension, alterations, or a restoration project, and deliver on the client's requirements.

You will need to show:

A keen interest in buildings and the built environment, in-depth experience in building information modeling (BIM)
•
Good design and drawing skills to demonstrate your flair for architecture;
•
Sound analytical skills, accuracy, and attention to detail;
•
Excellent communication skills, written and oral, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of other professionals;
•
Strong teamwork and leadership skills;
•
A first-rate understanding of construction processes;
•
Commercial awareness and business acumen.
•
Project management skills;
•
Excellent I.T skills, including computer-aided design skills with proficiency in specific soft wares such as AutoCAD, ArchiCAD, Revit, Sketch up, 3d max
*Educational Requirements and Experience*
You will need to possess:
•
Good design degree(s) (HND, B.Sc., B.Tech., M.Sc., M.Tech.) in architecture;
•
Registration with the Architects Registration Council of Nigeria (ARCON) and the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) is an added advantage.
•
Strong portfolio to prove artistic skills
•
Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
•
Proven working experience as an architect.
