Job summary

The Architect and Interior Designer supports the delivery of high-quality residential and commercial interior projects by combining architectural expertise with innovative interior design solutions. The role involves developing design concepts, producing 3D visualizations and detailed construction drawings, and supporting project execution.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Design & Concept Development:

  • Participate actively in design brainstorming sessions and internal reviews.
  • Translate client briefs into functional, buildable, and visually compelling design concepts.
  • Integrate architectural elements seamlessly with interior design layouts.
  • Conduct site assessments and incorporate site conditions into design solutions.
  • Develop architectural schemes from initial layouts through finishing details.

 

3D Modelling & Visualisation:

  • Produce accurate 3D models, renderings, walkthroughs, and perspective views for presentations.
  • Create photorealistic visual outputs that clearly communicate design intent, materials, lighting, and spatial flow.
  • Use software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Lumion, Enscape, and 3ds Max effectively.
  • Ensure all visual presentations reflect proper scale, massing, circulation, and context.

 

Architectural & Working Drawings:

  • Prepare detailed architectural drawings including plans, sections, elevations, details, schedules, and specifications.
  • Produce construction-ready documents such as foundation plans, roof layouts, staircase details, and door/window schedules.
  • Coordinate architectural drawings with structural, electrical, mechanical, and plumbing layouts.
  • Ensure all drawings comply with building codes, statutory regulations, and internal quality standards.

 

Team & Consultant Coordination:

  • Collaborate closely with engineers, MEP consultants, quantity surveyors, and project managers.
  • Attend coordination meetings and accurately document revisions and decisions.
  • Respond to RFIs and clarify design issues with consultants and contractors.

 

Project Documentation & Delivery Support:

  • Maintain organized project folders, drawing registers, revision logs, and approval records.
  • Support project timelines by identifying and resolving design issues early.
  • Archive approved drawings, models, and revisions systematically.


Site Support & Supervision:

  • Participate in site visits to ensure construction aligns with approved drawings and design intent.
  • Assist with site instructions, modification sketches, and issue resolution.
  • Address on-site challenges through clear technical drawings and coordination with the project team.


Client Interaction & Presentation:

  • Support client meetings and design presentations.
  • Clearly explain design concepts, technical details, and proposed solutions.
  • Build professional client relationships that support confidence and satisfaction.

 

Regulatory Compliance & Permits:

  • Prepare and coordinate documentation for planning approvals and building permits.
  • Liaise with regulatory authorities and consultants to ensure timely approvals.
  • Maintain working knowledge of zoning laws, building codes, and permit processes.


Industry Awareness & Design Standards:

  • Stay updated on interior and architectural design trends, materials, and technologies.
  • Contribute to internal design standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Apply innovative ideas that improve design quality, efficiency, and delivery.

 

Requirements:

  • BSc / B.Tech with 3 - 5 years of professional experience in architectural design and visualization.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, or similar 3D/BIM software -3D Visualization
  • Expertise in technical detailing, working drawings, and construction documentation.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and time-management abilities.
  • Portfolio showcasing completed projects (residential/commercial) and technical proficiency.
