We are seeking a creative, technically skilled, and detail-oriented Architect to design, develop, and oversee building projects from concept through completion. The successful candidate will prepare architectural designs and drawings, coordinate with engineers and contractors, conduct site inspections etc.

Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Develop architectural concepts, designs, layouts, and detailed construction drawings.
- Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, 3D models, and presentation materials.
- Interpret client requirements and translate them into practical and innovative design solutions.
- Conduct site visits, surveys, and assessments to support project planning and design.
- Coordinate with civil, structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers.
- Liaise with clients, contractors, consultants, suppliers, and regulatory authorities.
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and contractor submissions.
- Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with approved architectural designs.
- Identify and resolve design and construction-related issues.
- Assist with project planning, cost estimates, specifications, and tender documentation.
- Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, planning regulations, and safety standards.
- Prepare project reports, documentation, and progress updates.
- Stay updated on architectural trends, construction materials, technologies, and sustainable design practices.
- Ensure projects are delivered within agreed timelines and quality standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree or HND in Architecture; a Master's Degree is an added advantage.
- Proven years of relevant architectural experience.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, ArchiCAD, SketchUp, 3D Max, Lumion, or similar design software.
- Strong knowledge of architectural design principles, building construction, and planning regulations.
- Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and engineering drawings.
- Strong creativity, visualization, and technical drawing skills.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and project coordination skills.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Registration with ARCON and membership of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (NIA) is an added advantage.
- Willingness to travel to project sites when required.
