Architect
Job summary
We seek an Architect with experience in interior architecture, technical design, and project management. The ideal candidate will lead projects from concept to completion, produce quality documentation, supervise site execution, and coordinate stakeholders. AutoCAD and SketchUp proficiency preferred.

Responsibilities:
- Leads production of schematic design, design development, and production of working drawings: floor plans, ceilings, MEP, etc.
- Coordinates and maintains the project schedule.
- Meets with clients to take project briefs.
- Field measurement and detailed site survey.
- Prepare, develop, edit, and update furniture schedules, finish schedules, and all other images and documentation relating to the design.
- Lead the design and development of architectural and interior design projects from concept through technical documentation.
- Manage project execution by coordinating consultants, contractors, vendors, timelines, budgets, and site activities.
- Produce accurate construction drawings, specifications, schedules, and project documentation to support successful delivery.
- Conduct site supervision, maintain quality standards, resolve technical issues, and ensure projects are completed in line with design intent, budget, and schedule.
- Actively seek new design and construction methods.
- Ensure adequate information in design details.
- Any other tasks that may be assigned from time to time by The 4th Place Company or the Chief Executive Officer.
Requirements:
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral.
- Minimum of 5 years of architectural experience.
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
- Strong proficiency in SketchUp.
- Revit experience is highly preferred.
- A well-organized and professional CV.
- A comprehensive portfolio containing real-life architectural projects (academic projects alone will not be considered).
- Proven experience in architectural design, particularly interior architecture.
- Demonstrable project management experience.
- Experience producing construction documentation.
- Experience supervising project execution on-site.
- High levels of creativity and imagination.
- Excellent design and sketching skills.
- A keen eye for detail, as well as the ability to design conceptually.
- Ability to field measure and accurately convert to CAD & 3D.
- Computer literacy with demonstrable knowledge and proficiency in industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Revit, MS Office Suite, Adobe Suite, SketchUp & Rendering Software.
- An analytical mind with excellent problem-solving and mathematical ability.
- Ability to work in a team and strong interpersonal skills.
- Experience in Commercial Interiors.
- Strong knowledge of the design process, including color and materials, furniture systems, FF&E, and specifications.
- Strong communication skills are required to demonstrate design ideas and direction, both verbally and graphically.
- Presentation skills in MS or Adobe.
- Occasional travel required.
Remuneration: NGN 350,000- 400,000
