Role Description
This is a full-time on-site position located in Nigeria, for an Airline Captain. The Airline Captain will be responsible for operating and commanding aircraft, ensuring safety and compliance with aviation standards, conducting pre-flight and post-flight inspections, and maintaining effective communication with the crew and air traffic control. Additional responsibilities include mentoring and guiding co-pilots, managing in-flight operations, and ensuring passenger and crew safety during every flight.
Qualifications
Proven experience with Type Rating and proficiency with aircraft operations
Strong knowledge and expertise in aviation safety standards and protocols
Demonstrated piloting skills with an emphasis on operational excellence
Experience working with airlines and a clear understanding of airline operations
Exceptional decision-making, leadership, and situational awareness capabilities
Valid Airline Transport Pilot License (ATPL) and medical certification
Proficiency in English; additional language skills are an advantage
Flexibility to work in an international location and adapt to operational demands.
A Minimum of flight hours required for the role of a B777 captain are as follows:
REQUIREMENTS: 5,000 Total time
1,000 PIC on type
For Captain Upgrades or sponsored type ratings:
6,000 Total Time
2,000 Hours on jet aircraft
500 Hours on type
Location: Nigeria.
Rotations: 8 Weeks On / 3 Weeks Off
