Air Conditioning Technician

Responsibilities:

• Install, commission, and maintain VRV/VRF HVAC systems.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system faults and carry out effective repairs.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance.
• Perform refrigerant charging, leak testing, and pressure testing in line with safety standards.
• Test and monitor system components, including electrical controls, airflow, and refrigerant levels.
• Interpret technical drawings, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures.
• Maintain accurate service reports and maintenance records.
• Collaborate with engineers, project teams, and clients to ensure smooth project execution.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Diploma in HVAC, Refrigeration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience working with VRV/VRF systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, controls, and diagnostics.
• Experience working with brands such as Daikin, LG, Samsung, and Mitsubishi Electric is an added advantage
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and electrical schematics.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Ability to work in confined spaces and handle manual tasks when required.
• Relevant HVAC certification or licensing is an added advantage.
