 AICESA Africa Leadership Structure

African Institute for Innovative Computer Education & Skills Advancement (AICESA)

AICESA is building a pan-African network of digital education leaders to expand computer education, ICT capacity, and technology innovation across Africa.

Applicants must be based in and applying for representation in their respective countries.

The structure ensures coordination from continental leadership down to country representatives.

1️⃣ Continental LeadershipAfrica Director

Leads the overall strategy and expansion of AICESA across Africa.

Responsibilities

• Provide continental leadership
• Coordinate regional directors
• Represent AICESA at international partnerships
• Drive digital education initiatives across Africa

2️⃣ Regional Directors

To manage Africa effectively, AICESA will appoint Regional Directors.

Regions

West Africa Director

Countries such as Ghana, Senegal, Sierra Leone, Liberia, etc.

East Africa Director

Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Ethiopia, etc.

Central Africa Director

Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, Chad, etc.

Southern Africa Director

South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Zimbabwe, etc.

North Africa Director

Egypt, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Libya.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Country Representatives
• Coordinate regional programs
• Build partnerships with institutions
• Support AICESA projects

3️⃣ Country Representatives

Each African country will have an AICESA Country Representative.

Responsibilities

• Promote AICESA digital education programs
• Connect with schools and ICT institutions
• Organize local events and awareness programs
• Support training initiatives
• Build the AICESA community in their country

4️⃣ Institutional Partners

AICESA will collaborate with:

• Schools
• Universities
• ICT training centers
• NGOs
• Technology hubs
• Government agencies

Example partner:

5️⃣ AICESA Key Programs

AICESA focuses on:

• Digital Literacy Programs

• Computer Science Education

• AI & Emerging Technologies

• Teacher Training in ICT

AICESA may include:

Members may receive official certificates and recognition.
