Job summary

We are seeking an entry-level Administrative Officer to support daily operations in our furniture and joinery manufacturing company. The role involves administration, sales support, invoicing, logistics coordination, inventory, and liaising with factory staff to ensure smooth business operations.

Job descriptions & requirements

Responsibilities:

Administrative & Office Support:

  • Assist with day-to-day administrative and clerical duties
  • Maintain proper filing, documentation, and record-keeping systems
  • Prepare basic reports and provide updates to management and directors
  • Support scheduling, correspondence, and internal communication


Sales & Customer Support:

  • Attend to customer inquiries and follow up on leads
  • Assist with preparing quotations, invoices, and receipts
  • Maintain customer and sales records
  • Support basic sales and customer relationship activities


Factory & Operations Support:

  • Liaise between office staff and factory personnel
  • Assist in tracking job orders, production progress, and deliveries
  • Support smooth coordination between departments


Logistics, Stock & Inventory:

  • Assist with logistics planning and delivery coordination
  • Support stock taking and inventory record management
  • Monitor materials and report shortages or discrepancies


General Duties:

  • Ensure adherence to company procedures and standards
  • Provide general support to ensure smooth and efficient operations
  • Carry out other duties as assigned by management


Requirements:


  • Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university (any relevant discipline)
  • 0–2 years work experience (fresh graduates are encouraged to apply)
  • Strong computer literacy (Microsoft Word, Excel, email)
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Good organizational and time-management skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Ability to multitask
  • Professional attitude and strong work ethic
  • Ability to work independently and in a team
  • Interest in administration, operations, and business processes
