Job summary
The Administrative & Operations Assistant will support the day-to-day business activities of a growing pastry catering and delivery company. This role focuses on recording financial transactions, tracking expenses and profits, managing orders, and ensuring accurate business records while the owner oversees production
Job descriptions & requirements
Responsibilities:
- Record and track daily customer orders and payments
- Maintain accurate records of business expenses (ingredients, packaging, logistics, etc.)
- Monitor and update sales and profit records
- Track daily/weekly production output (number of pastries produced)
- Assist with inventory tracking (raw materials and supplies)
- Prepare simple weekly financial summaries
- Support order coordination and delivery tracking
- Maintain organized records using Excel, Google Sheets, or manual logs
- Assist with basic administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good organizational and time management skills
- Basic understanding of business finances (revenue, expenses, profit)
- Trustworthy and dependable
- Good communication skills
