Administrative Assistant
Job summary
We are looking to hire an Administrative Assistant for our new Enugu office. As Administrative Assistant / HR Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for our Nigerian office, keeping day-to-day operations running smoothly and supporting the recruitment and management of our staff. You will report to the CEO and COO. You'll be the main point of contact, keep the office running smoothly, coordinate recruitment and HR records, support our affiliated foundation, and work with our US team.

Responsibilities:
- Serve as the first point of contact for the office, vendors, landlords, and government and regulatory offices
- Make sure the office runs smoothly every day, including power, internet, equipment, supplies, and security
- Coordinate schedules, meetings, correspondence, and follow-ups across teams
- Support the operations of our affiliated foundation, keeping its records and communications separate from the company's
- Coordinate recruitment: draft job posts, screen applications, schedule interviews, and prepare onboarding
- Prepare employment documents and maintain confidential personnel records, attendance, and leave
- Prepare monthly payroll inputs and track statutory deadlines (PAYE, pension, NSITF)
- Collect receipts and invoices and support the accountant with month-end documentation
- Supervise office staff as the team grows, including work allocation and follow-up
- Coordinate with our US-based team during overlapping hours
Requirements:
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's degree (BSc/HND)
- Experience Level: Entry to mid-level (0 to 3 years)
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and spoken English
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
- Comfortable communicating with international colleagues
- Integrity and discretion in handling confidential information
- Able to work independently and follow through on tasks
- Available to work 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, Monday to Friday
Nice to have:
- Experience in administration, office management, HR, or operations
- Basic knowledge of Nigerian employment and payroll compliance
- Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks, Slack, or project management software
- Strong interest in growing into a management role

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 per month, plus NGN 20,000 monthly data and power allowance
