Accounts Payable and Inventory Officer

We are hiring – Accounts Payable & Inventory Officer

📍 Location: Abuja

📊 Reporting to: Chief Accountant

We are looking for a detail-oriented professional to manage accounts payable, inventory records, and fixed asset accounting, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong financial control across procurement and stock processes.

🔑 Key Responsibilities

• Process and verify supplier invoices (POs & GRNs)
• Manage payment processing and supplier reconciliations
• Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP system
• Conduct stock counts and variance analysis
• Manage Fixed Asset Register and monthly depreciation (IAS 16)
• Ensure VAT, WHT, and FIRS compliance
• Prepare inventory, AP, and asset reports

📌 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance or related field
• 4–6 years’ relevant experience (AP, inventory, fixed assets)
• Strong knowledge of IFRS (IAS 16) and Nigerian tax laws
• ERP system experience required
• ICAN/ACCA (or in progress) is an advantage
