Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full accounting cycle, accounts payable, receivable, payroll, and general ledger.
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Perform account reconciliations and ensure all financial records are accurate and up to date.
- Assist with budgeting & forecasting, providing insights to support strategic decision-making.
- Stay current on relevant tax regulations and ensure timely filing of all tax returns.
- Participate in the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Develop and implement strong internal controls to safeguard financial data.
- Partner with other departments (e.g., Sales, Operations) to understand their financial needs and provide ongoing support.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting is a must-have.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a fast-paced accounting role, preferably within a startup or high-growth company.
- Strong understanding of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles) and accounting software.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Meticulous attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A passion for technology and the startup ecosystem is a plus.
