Job Summary
A Pharmaceutical company based in Maryland, is looking for an Accountant to manage daily Financial transactions, from Payments and variable Expenses to bank Deposits and budgets, Profit and Loss, Audit Financial, Etc
- Minimum Qualification: HND
- Experience Level: Senior level
- Experience Length: 5 years
Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate records of all daily transactions in the Retail and Wholesale Pharmaceutical and Food sections of the company.
- Review, design and implement financial policies.
- Track bank deposits ,payments and reconciliation of sales/ stocks
- Audit financial transactions and documents.
- Filing and remitting taxes and other financial obligations.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Comply with Federal, State, and Local financial legal requirements by studying existing and new legislation, enforcing adherence to requirements, and advising management on needed actions.
Requirements:
- B.Sc. or HND in Accounting.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a fast-paced organization
- Great organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite especially Excel.
- Proficiency in the use of accounting tools like QuickBooks.
- Integrity and honesty.
- Professional certification will be an added advantage
Location: Must be resident in Lagos
