Job Description/Requirements

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare, examine, and analyze accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports for accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintain proper documentation of financial transactions and ensure timely posting into the company’s accounting system.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Reconcile bank statements and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Process invoices, receipts, payments, and payroll in line with company procedures.
  • Monitor and manage accounts receivable and payable.
  • Support tax preparation, auditing, and budgeting processes.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations and company policies.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to management for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal and external auditors when required.
  • Assist in cost control and budget management initiatives.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent) is an advantage.
  • Minimum of 2–5 years of proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong knowledge of accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or Zoho Books).
  • Excellent knowledge of financial regulations, reporting standards, and compliance requirements.
  • High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other financial tools.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

 

Remuneration: NGN 150,000 –  300,000 monthly (depending on experience and qualifications)
