Job summary
An Accountant is responsible for managing financial records, preparing accurate financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements. The role supports management decision-making by providing reliable financial information and maintaining effective financial controls.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Prepare and maintain accounting records, ledgers, and financial statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable, invoices, and payments
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax laws, and company policies
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Support audits and respond to audit queries
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of financial records
- Monitor expenses and support cost control initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2–5 years’ relevant accounting experience
- Professional certification (ICAN, ACCA, CPA) is an advantage
- Good knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail
