Job summary
Our client seeks a competent, chartered Accountant to own the financial records and reporting of a growing electrical and building infrastructure business. This role suits someone accurate, accountable, and timely, who produces clean monthly accounts and keeps proper, well-organised records.

Responsibilities:
- Maintain accurate daily records of sales, purchases, and expenses.
- Prepare timely monthly financial reports, including bank reconciliation, payables, receivables, and a simple profit and loss.
- Track the cost of goods and support accurate inventory valuation with the operations team.
- Manage payroll processing and statutory obligations, including VAT and other FIRS requirements.
- Keep organised, properly filed supporting documents for all transactions.
- Submit reports on schedule to management and flag financial risks early.
- Chartered accountant, ACA (ICAN) or ACCA, fully qualified or a student member already in the process.
- Minimum of 3 years' accounting experience, ideally in a trading, retail, or product-based business.
- Solid working knowledge of bookkeeping, reconciliation, and financial reporting.
- Familiar with VAT and statutory compliance in Nigeria.
- Comfortable with accounting and inventory software.
- Accurate, accountable, and able to meet reporting deadlines without being chased.
- Strong record-keeping and organisation.
- A verifiable guarantor.
