Job summary
TenTrade Africa is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to manage the financial operations of our organization. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting strategic financial decision-making.

Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial statements, reports, and reconciliations in accordance with regulatory standards.
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger entries.
- Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance, providing analysis to support management decisions.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, and tax regulations.
- Coordinate and support audits and liaise with external auditors as required.
- Maintain and update financial records, accounting databases, and documentation in line with company policies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to support operational and financial processes.
- Identify financial risks and inefficiencies, and recommend practical improvements to enhance financial management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc/BA) in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Chartered Accountant qualification (ICAN, ACCA, or equivalent).
- Minimum of 4–5 years’ proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and accounting software.
- High attention to detail, integrity, and problem-solving capability.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks independently while prioritizing competing demands.
